Accessibility

Limited mobility
Our building, Carrollcroft Villa, built in 1859, is not universally accessible due to the
lack of an access ramp and elevator. The main entrance has outdoor stairs, and the
second floor is accessible only by stairs. Most of our permanent exhibition is located
on the ground floor, but the temporary exhibition is entirely on the second floor.

Stroller Access
The exhibition rooms are too small for strollers. We recommend leaving your stroller at the entrance and carrying your child or walking hand-in-hand with them.
If you require special accommodations, please contact us in advance in order to
discuss them.

Restrooms
The Museum has gender-neutral restrooms on the ground floor, equipped with a
changing table.

Museum Boutique

Our gift shop offers the exclusive “Colby-Curtis” tea blend to take home, artisanal
products made in the Eastern Townships, and postcards created specifically for our
temporary exhibitions.
The gift shop is currently being restocked. New selections will be arriving soon.

Tea Service

Relive the century-old tradition of afternoon tea, kept alive from generation to
generation among the English-speaking community in the Eastern Townships, with
our tea service held every Friday from June 26 through August 28, 2026.
Stay tuned for themed tea services throughout the year.

Picnic Area

Admission to the museum garden is free at all times. Picnic tables and Adirondack
chairs are available for you to enjoy the grounds.
