Townships Tea festival - 11 AM to 12 PM

This year, we celebrate strawberries! For many Indigenous peoples, the strawberry represents the heart and, by extension, brotherly love. For many, strawberry season signals the arrival of summer. It may also evoke memories of Strawberry Socials — old-fashioned events organized by women of the Hatley United Church and local organizations as fundraisers. Picking strawberries as a family… These sweet memories and more await you at our special Strawberry Festival English tea!

Menu: strawberry gazpacho soup, cucumber sandwich, scone, Devonshire-style cream, local strawberry jam (if available), and a selection of petit fours honouring strawberries.
