We request the pleasure of your company at the Museum on Sunday December 3rd at 2pm ! We’v se prepared special reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”
This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month, which means that the entry to the museum and reading is free. A contribution of non-perishable food items for the local Christmas Basket is very much appreciated instead.
Many years ago, CBC Radio Quebec Community Network, adopted this unique idea. Several of the radio personalities began traveling to remote communities and when they hosted these readings, a couple of the residents would join them in the presentation, giving it a local flavour as well.
Our local readers will include Gabriel Safdie, Vice President of the Colby Curtis Museum, local author and playwright, Ross Murray, local author Benny Beattie, and Kim Prangley.
There will be limited seating to the reading. Therefore we suggest reserving your place by calling the museum at 819 876 7322 or emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org
We will collect the non-perishable donations at the door.
